In a lot of ways, this workflow is similar to that described in matklad’s TigerBeetle post about tracking review state in the repository and reviewing the code locally. As they say in the post, this is a bit cumbersome in Git as it requires a soft reset and use of the staging area, and it is tricky if you need to pause and do something else (unless you use a separate worktree).
